Steam Train Engines
My name is Rene Vasquez and I have done many things in my life and experienced many exceptional moments. Some of those I have been fortunate enough to capture in a photograph. Those photographs are tangible remnants of people, places, and things. Some of which are gone but were caught in a moment of time that meant something to someone. Without sounding too cliche, in my photography I try to keep that moment alive and in some ways the feelings that were felt at that time. Some of my photographs are taken for the beauty that I see; some are for a historical record of the past and some are just for fun. I hope you enjoy what I have created. Please feel free to contact me about custom or private session photography.

Rene Vasquez replied:
Thank you Gary. I hate to say it but this photo was one of those unexpected situations without me having a real camera. I did my best with my Samsung phone and post production. I appreciate your kind words. If you ever have the chance stop in at the Cumbres & Toltec Station in Chama, NM. They are a fantastic group of train enthusiast and have some awesome photo opportunities.
